Hello and welcome at our family album!

Since December 7th, 1999 we are a real family. Many, many years we had been longing to have a child, but due to the chemotherapy in 1989/1990 this had been a dream with no chance of being fulfilled.

But God gave us a promise: We would have our own children! We kept believing for many years, in spite of the medical facts speaking a completely different language...

...for the vision is yet for the appointed time. It will not fail. Though it tarries, wait for it. For it will certainly come, it will not delay. (Hab 2:3)

And suddenly, in March 1999, Andrea was pregnant. We couldn't believe it, after having been disappointed too many times.

But it was really true. Soon it became pretty obvious (have a look at Andrea). Here are the first pictures from the various ultrasound checkups. Finally, at December 7th, out daughter is born by sectio at 8:40 a.m. after a difficult night. We call her Katrin Salome.
